Privacy Policy
Effective November 4, 2026
AppBeat is built so that we never receive your data. There is no AppBeat account and no AppBeat server. This policy explains what the app does with information on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. We do not collect, store, sell or share personal data, usage data, analytics, advertising identifiers or crash logs. AppBeat contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.
Data stored on your iPhone
- The apps and keywords you choose to track, and their rank, chart, rating and review history.
- Your settings, such as alert thresholds, digest time and quiet hours.
- If you connect App Store Connect: your Issuer ID, Key ID, vendor number and private key (.p8). These are stored only in this device's Keychain and are never sent anywhere except to Apple to authenticate your own requests.
Widgets read a summary of this data through a shared container on the same device.
Network requests
AppBeat talks directly to Apple and nobody else:
- Public App Store data (itunes.apple.com): app search results, app details, top charts and public reviews.
- App Store Connect API (api.appstoreconnect.apple.com), only if you connect a key: sales reports, customer reviews and the review responses you send.
These requests are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Notifications
Alerts and the daily digest are local notifications created on your device. No push service or server is involved.
Purchases
AppBeat Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment information. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
Deleting your data
Use Settings › Delete all data in the app, or delete the app. Either removes all stored data and your App Store Connect key from the device. To disconnect only the key, use Settings › Disconnect and delete key, and revoke it in App Store Connect › Users and Access › Integrations.
Children
AppBeat is a tool for app developers and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
